Wow so I dont know weather or not to salivate or puke. This may be the most eclectic mix of spheres of underground music since Six Feet Under, Down, or some of the wacktard electronica produced by Finnish Black Metal artists. Weve got Hatebreed, Down, BLS, Crowbar, and Unearth representing. This could end up like a Taj Mahal meets Motel 6 fusion, or the Punk, Doom, Hardcore, and Metal worlds may finally put their weapons down and unite under one flag. IMO jayme jasta fits much better in hatebreed and they should just have kirk windstein doing the vocals (damn i love those smooth crowbar undertones), but i guess they needed a posterboy to sell records, right?
In any event, the mp3s sound promising… basically a heavier, less funky version of down with a way less cool frontman. I predict immediate success due to the mtv pinup boy promo of the band, but they could have some longevity due to the epic lineup. Lot of talent stuffed in there. Then again, just about every sideproject fusion like this that has ever formed really just burnt out after an album or 3.
